I can't even remember how much weed I smoked listening to this album back in the 80's! If you like JB, get it.
Browne Brings Out His Best!

This album is a great start at the beginning of the 80's pop decade. Jackson certainly puts his heart and soul into every song on this album. The standout tracks include "Boulevard", "That Girl Could Sing", and "Call It A Loan." This album is a must for all JB fans and it's great to own this album once again.
Decent but not a highlight

This would be a decent album for the typicla early 80s pop star but not for a great singer-songwriter like Jackson Browne. His most contemporary album at the time, it predictably has become the one of his most dated. His first song literally has disco influences. There are some good songs in the more "traditional" JB mode, although the lyrics aren't as ambitious as his previous work. Not the worst album to add to the collection, but it's far from his best effort. Newcomers should look elsewhere before considering this.
