Truly epic. Night on the sun is by far the best Modest Mouse song ever written. The whole EP feels as if it's an atmospheric build up towards it. The one thing that strikes me about this album is these are the tracks that didn't make the cut on Moon vs. Antarctica.

Why buy this? It's just a bunch of mediocre throwaways from The Moon & Antarctica, right? Wrong. This EP ranks among MM's best work. I thoroughly enjoyed it as I would any of their studio albums, and I think any Modest Mouse fan would agree! Well worth it!!

Been jamming this since the day it came out and I still love it just as much. It NEVER gets old! Some of their best work, in my opinion.

I really can't think of any words, every song is pure genius. My favorite might be Night On the Sun, but that's a close call.

I wish I could hit upon a pleasant track of thought,a track indirectly reflecting credit upon myself. For those are the pleasantest thoughts, and very frequent even in the minds of modest, mouse colored people, who believe genuinely to there own praises. That's where Modest Mouse got it's name from,it's a page from a really cool book. Awesome albumQ
  • Perfect addition to "The Moon and Antarctica"

Anyone who had The M&A record and loved it should definitely get this. Here's a tip: Don't buy the whole album. Buy everything BESIDES I Came As A Rat, and save some cold, hard cash.

This album is so much better than people give it credit for, or even just acknowledgement. These songs are all great. Less memorable ones are 3 Inch Horses, Two Faced Monsters, & The Air. Not because they're bad - their pretty good, it's because the other ones are really good and stick with me. I can't really pick a favorite but I guess the most listened one would be I Came As a Rat.

This album is a great starter album, it has a little bit of everything that modest mouse has to offer. Night on the sun is my favorite, the way it builds up, it's really great.
