Another Classic of Indie Rock with the elements of “the lonesome crowded west” but, has some new elements along with it that would influence later albums. Also, that album feels so nostalgic and personal to me.GREAT AlBUM. AWESOME LISTEN!!!

This album cannot be overstated. It’s just that good. What Brock and company pull off in this album needs to be heard and put on repeat. From the lyrics, to the instrumentation, to the way each track builds upon the next—The Moon and Antarctica takes you to a far away place that’s always right beside and within you. Every song, no matter its length, has at least two or three quotable lines that shatter the barrier between philosophical interrogation and music. If you are a fan of rock, indie rock, or alternative music, you should already have this album. If you are a fan of music, you owe it to yourself to add this to your collection.

It was dripped in pitch and made of wood. Do yourself and buy this album. Great listen to unwind or clear your head

I grew up listening to this and I feel it really defines me. This album is very under credited. I recommend to buy the whole thing and listen without skipping tracks.

Artistic genius. This album and lonesome crowded west are the very best of lyrical genius, emotion, melody, art. Play these in your car on a long drive. It will change your life. It's that good.

This is a great album. To me it, it belongs on the same shelf as Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon." It's dark, brooding, meditative, and above all - tremendously moving. I'm a fan of MM, but they have certain songs I can't for the life of me get through. This album is something special, even as more than a great MM record.
