Reviews

  • At Least There’s Ace

It is their last great album. Extras are always nice. It’s true, Gene is only in it for the $. At least it’s better than repackaged “greatest hits” junk. Some of their best songs are the ones never on any greatest hits albums (i.e. Strange Ways et.al)

Those who criticize the band, show us just how silly they are. Creatures was one of there best records and a interesting time for the band. People don’t give Kiss enough credit for being the actual creative musicians that they are. It shows in the variety of the demos. I’ve been a fan since 1976, but I don’t necessarily agree with the prolonged farewell tour and the last few albums released. The magic is kind of gone. But what a mark they have left. Kiss has always had great work ethic, it’s not easy what they do.

(beside the original album) there is probably 4 or 5 dollars worth of good stuff on here

I’ve always liked this album, great to work out too, solid and very heavy! Love the live tunes and demos, I have listened to this band since I was little they never disappoint, kiss is gene and Paul!

Yup! 5 stars just to offset the babies that give 1 star for no good reason at all. Good release whether you like them or not.

I wonder if Ace or Peter get anything each time a Kiss albums gets released. I doubt Gene or Paul care enough to share the wealth especially when they’re too busy spooning each other.

This box set is incredible and highlights what is by far one of their top three releases. Eric Carr’s drumming is the highlight. This release also shows what KISS was capable of once they dropped the dead weight of Ace and Peter.

Only Kiss would make a big deal out of the anniversary of one of their worst ever albums.
