Many people trash on this album because it wasn’t much of a departure from Dynasty, but this is a fantastic, fun album!! Naked City is a great Gene track!! This is also the first time Ace had more than one track!! All three of his tracks kick butt!! Torpedo Girl is probably the crown of the Ace songs!! Tomorrow is another extremely underrated classic on this album!!

This album gets bashed quite a bit. However, this is a power pop album. Great songs, great melodies.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best Kiss album, but it’s got some great songs. Is That You, Talk To Me, Two Sides Of The Coin, Tomorrow, Torpedo Girl, and more. In my opinion Two Sides Of The Coin is the best song off the album. This is a must get for TRUE Kiss fans!

I bought this album when I first became a KISS fan in the mid-late 80s. Some albums you like right off the bat, some require some warming up to, but you end up liking over time, and others just never make it past lukewarm status. For me, I have always liked Unmasked right off the bat. I never really knew how bad people dissed this album until the early internet years, but could not understand why. Sure, it doesn’t have the grittiness as their previous released albums did, but this album is loaded with great songs from start to finish, including one of my all time favorite KISS songs, Naked City. Don’t get caught up with trying to compare this album to the likes of Destroyer, Led Zeppelin IV, or Sgt. Pepper. It’s a feel good album with some feel good songs. That’s it.
