Good job releasing this album! It saved you all and is the best live album I have heard yet! If this album didn’t come out I would have cried.

Kiss gets a bad rap for the makeup but if you listen to the lyrics and music these are street smart songs like ThinLizzy wrote. There' s a attitude that these days most artists and bands just don't have

It is incredible how huge they became despite zero radio play. Word of mouth and small town to small town touring created their huge fan base. Critics slammed them just for their look despite having great songs. Only when they realized how influential they were to all musicians that followed. GNR, Motley Crüe, Poison,White Lion, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains did they start giving them some credit. Ace’s playing on this top notch.

This is the album that put Kiss on the map and is the album by which every live album that has been released since is judged.
