Its been a while since Everclear has released new music...but this sounds like it came from their album So much for the Afterglow...which in my opinion was one of the best albums! This is a very catchy song that leaves you wanting more! If this is a taste of the new album...it is going to be their best work in a long time...and i am certainly looking forward to it specially now that i have heard this song!

This is not what I had hoped for. This isn't vintage Everclear. This is not like Sparkle and Fade, World of Noise, or So Much for the Afterglow. Yes it is better then the last several albums, but it is still missing that punk edge Art use to have. I know he can't sing in the lower tone anymore, but he needs to find a way to work with his voice. If you compare the Colorfinger album (Deep in the Heart of the Beast in the Sun), which is hands down the greatest album Art has ever done, to this it makes you want to cry. How someone who played in the same era and region as bands such as the Gits, X, and Nirvana can produce this is simply depressing. For the love of God please release the Colorfinger album again! 1000 copies is simply not enough.

If you are a fan of anything Everclear did between 1997-2000 you will love this new single! Taking us back to the late 90's, this single is pure power-chord pop/punk-rock mixed with catchy Alexakis-esque lyrics that will definitely have you listening over and over again. If this single is any indication, their album 'Invisible Stars' will be a strong return to the classic sound that Everclear dominated the radio with in the late 90's. Five stars.
