At the End of the Day (Radio Mix) - Single

I have enjoyed everything from Everclear over the years, but this is the best song from them since the album song from an American movie.

Well that may be a bit of a reach. This song is pretty good though -- certainly one of the better singles released by the band this decade. It does show quite a bit of promise for a band that has pretty much fallen off of the face of the earth. From an objective viewpoint, 'At The End Of The Day' incorporates new musical elements into Art Alexakis' songwriting -- most notably, the use of a gospel choir and a rock organ. The traditional Everclear objects are still in place: Art's gruff but sweet voice, pop sensibility, and overbearing honesty. This track is a steal at $0.69 and certainly points to the fact that good things are to come from the Everclear camp in the near future.

Unlike other bands who slowly evolve their music style in more ways than one, Everclear is still here the same way they've always been.

I fell in love with this song instantly. Art's voice always moves me and this song showcases it perfectly. I can't praise it enough - it's my favorite of all his music now.
