  • Really People?!?

Most bands don't put out enough material, but then you have a band like Pearl Jam that actually tries to give you a lot of material. It's funny how some people on here complain about how many live albums Pearl Jam puts out. It's kind of ridiculous if you ask me. Nobody is making you buy the album. It's just there if you want it. I would much rather have the option of buying a million live albums rather than not have any albums to buy. People just can't be happy with anything. If you want the album, buy it; if not, then don't buy it. It's that simply. It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. Big thanks to Pearl Jam for all the great music, keep it coming.

Fixer was the only song I could stomach on their last album... I think this band is running out of steam..

If you can't listen to this and appreciate and understand how great these guys are then you need serious medical attention and should contact your health care provider immediately for your own personal safety. Shows how amazing they are live, no doubt.
  • Great cover

Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros FTW It is nice that this great band, like Pearl Jam is, remembers an icon in music as it was Joe Strummer.
  • Eddie Sounds Tired

Let me preface this review by stating that I have been a PJ fan since the beginning, which might be why I wasn't a big fan of this live album. I made a rookie mistake and downloaded this album based solely on reviews. Just to be clear, this isn't a bad album, but it's not great. Vedder simply sounds tired on some of the performances, and fails to break out like PJ fans crave from such a prolific vocalist. One example of this is Rearview Mirror. This incredible song is one of my faves, and yet the performance on this compilation was kinda sad. Again, not crap, but no passionate thrill that Vedder used to produce with his growling vibrato. Yellow Ledbetter is another example. If you're looking for an incredible performance album, this is not the one for you and you might just want to check out PEARLJAMLIVE dot COM for 20 years of their music live.

This album shows why PJ is the greatest band of all time. They are better live than in studio, and every different live version is like a new song. They have never slowed down, and are the best thing that came out of the 90's and are keeping Rock n' Roll alive!
