Always loved this album because it was a little bit different. Some very hot licks. I think it shows Johnny's ability to be a little diverse. One of my all time favorite artists.

Finally got around to a CD release. This was Johnny's last studio album to mix rock n blues, before turning strictly to the blues. Pretty good stuff, with the blues material - Self Destructive Blues, Stranger, Pick Up On My Mojo & Sweet Papa John - working the best.

I just bought this a couple days ago. Johnny seems to be trying out new musical styles on here instead of just straight blues. If you can get past that,it's a neat album. And there is plenty of amazing guitar playing to go around. If you're a Johnny-freak,you will like this.

Glad this is available , I really do like this Johnny cd . My favorite tracks are : Self Destructive Blues (Nice rockin' blues tune) , Stranger (beautiful Johnny song with a good solo) ,
Pick Up On My Mojo (Nice Rocker) and the very dirty lyrics of Sweet Papa John .
