Saw Johnny at BB Kings in NY in 2009. Cant see.Cant walk.OH but he blew the roof off the place.A pure living legend.I love this album.My alltime favorite Johnny solo is on here. HUSTLED DOWN IN TEXAS.My arms get tired playing air guitar trying to keep up with him.

Ditto the other two reviews - Highway 61 is smokin' hot guitar work. Easily in my top 20 guitar tracks ever.
I remember being so impressed with the 3 sided vinyl LP. We figured this was a sure sign that what was on there was the best Johnny and crew had at the time - nothing more and nothing less. That blank 4th side was a statement.
Then, for those into vinyl - let me revive an old controversy - should the anti-skate on the players arm be set so that when the needle is placed on the smooth 4th side, the arm has no radial motion across the LP? :-)
