Reviews

  • Mono-to-Stereo

An amazing concept, imagine all the old music from the 1940s, 50s and 60s in glorious stereo. I can hear purists complaining already, but they are free to keep listening to 70yo mono recordings. This early Beatles comp (which everyone over 50 already has), is expanded with a dozen extra tracks (not my faves, but no comp can satisfy everyone). The real reason to get this is for the new stereo mixes. They sound fantastic and natural, like new recordings. I suppose the entire Beatles catalog is next, and why not? The possibilities are endless with this new AI technology.
  • Not just Reissues

These are not just reissues. You can hear the difference in the new 2023 mix tracks. There are songs like She Loves You and P.S. I Love You that were only ever available in Mono (even on the 2009 reissues stereo Past Masters Disc they were labeled as Mono) until now due to AI technology that separated the instruments and voices on these tracks. This along with other older tracks now have proper stereo versions with vocals present in the middle of the mix as opposed to only one side.
  • Honestly this reissue is missing 5 very good songs but other than that it’s an amazing reissue

This reissue is still missing 5 very good Beatles songs from this time period. Till There Was You, Please Mr. Postman, If I Fell, Things We Said Today and I’ll Follow The Sun l but really other than missing out on those five songs, this reissue of The Red Album is just amazing! It’s very good to see what technology can do for The Beatles music and The Beatles will live on to be the greatest rock band forever!
  • Remixed 21st Century Style!

Listen to "A Hard Day's Night"and you'll instantly understand why this is so great. You can hear the guitar lines separately from the drums and the vocals. The song sounds completely different with real depth and much, much more vibrant and alive....as if you were really there! Highly Recommended!

Listening to the remastered edition of the Red Album is like hearing these songs again for the first time. The sound and clarity are exceptional. This a a must have for Beatles fans!

This song captures the Beatles playing their best. It’s over looked. Greatest B side ever. jdsb3
  • Disappointing compilation.

Songs that should have been included in the Red album: If I Fell, Things We Said Today, I’ll Follow The Sun, and most glaring, Rain. How could this happen? Going to be tough for me to fork over $20 for yet another rehash of their music.

I think I would buy this over Blue because no Pre Revolver album has Peter Jackson’s AI separation tech or whatever it is.. and all this is Pretty much Pre Revolver besides like 4 songs

I’m sure everyone will have one track that they want to add to this album but to not include Rain seems to me to be an extremely poor choice.
