Giles: Thanks for separating the guitar solos. Can you imagine the catharsis as John, Paul and George work out all of the angst that was there in Peter Jackson's "Get Back"?
Beatles most overrated

Maxwells, Oh Darling, Octopus are awful tracks, and the medley is a mish mash of leftover tracks as they wanted to keep their best tracks for their first solo records. But come together and harrisons two tracks are great.

I became a fan of The Beatles at the age of 17, after hearing them sing, “Free As A Bird” on The Beatles Anthology in 1995. If you’re just as an avid lover of their music, as I am, I definitely recommend the Abbey Road album re-issue as it’s 2 hours and 13 minutes of pure bliss! <3
Like an old friend... but better

Long been my favorite Beatles album, this mix is crisper, cleaner, better use of modern stereo. Gives you the feeling of hearing it directly in the studio. Well done Giles... well done.

I’ve listened to Abby Road on all formats over 4 decades. This remaster is amazing. “Something” makes my hair stand up. The background vocals are crystal clear and remarkable. “Here comes the Sun” and “Because” pretty much forces you to sing along. The bass and drums (Kick and toms)are clear and well pronounced. The stereo mixes truly engulf you. I’ve only heard a fraction of the additional takes so far but I’m floored. Get this.
What a masterpiece thanks to Giles Martin!

So much insight into the Beatles final album. They appeared to be quite animated at that time.
