Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Super Deluxe Edition) [2017 Remix & Remaster]

Apple should have released this digitally right at the beginning. I spent over a hundred dollars for this material, which I could have gotten for less than half that amount. This makes me mad. HOWEVER—This is a fantastic look into the Sgt. Pepper sessions, especially the making of Strawberry Fields. Any hardcore Beatles fan should get this. You will not be disappointed by the digital release; it’s the least expensive way to get this music.

I hate this strategy of first forcing us to buy the deluxe edition, only to release this super deluxe afterwards. Nasty. arrogant, and greedy. Its not the Beatles, Yoko, Olivia but the record label's greed. After all this is the only way they could make a living. Sorry people.

When searching for the Super Deluxe of the White Album, fully expecting only a deluxe version to be available digitally, I was pleasantly surprised to find the Super Deluxe of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band as well. When it became available digitally is a mystery to me, as only a less expansive Deluxe edition was available for the longest time. I fully expected the same to be true of the White Album. I also refrained from purchasing the deluxe of Sgt. Peppers, but streamed it on  Music. As an owner of the 2009 stereo and mono box sets, I did not want to spend more than twice as much money as the cost of the iTunes version of Sgt. Peppers Super Deluxe and would not for the White Album Super Deluxe. I did have the opportunity to hear the entire set, as a friend did purchase it upon its release. The Deluxe version may be more appropriate for some. The Super Deluxe is far more interesting and priced fairly on iTunes. Sgt. Peppers is not my favorite Beatles album but one I enjoy from time to time. The additional content on the Super Deluxe is more for those of us who like the Beatles much more than just casually.
