All these songs are overlooked. No Man's land is amazing, as are the great wall of china, and blonde over blue. i can listen to the whole thing through.

This truly is Billy Joel at his finest. A brilliant songwriter with creative, soulful lyrics and songs that hit very close to home. I was only 13 when this came out, and I could tell you then (as I can now) that All About Soul and Two Thousand Years are 2 of the best songs he's ever written. Just listen to all the lyrics in Two Thousand Years and try not to tear up, and think about life. All of life. Cheers!

I could relate to so many of Joel's songs in this album. River of Dreams spoke to me, especially. I thought it was the new Amazing Grace…Love Billy and Billy with Elton. I long for another album like this…my favorite to date. Thank you for so much great music over the years, Billy! Please continue touring…I know it's a drag for you but great for your fans. We appreciate the opportunities to see you in person. All the best.

To the person who said Lullaby was a bland song, He originally wrote it as an actual lullaby for his daughter. He did not want it released or recorded for a long time until he was convinced it was something he should put on an album. I believe Lullaby is a breathtakingly beautiful song because it has such a personal story behind it. It wasn't written for anyone except his daughter, but I feel we are all lucky to be able to listen to this beautiful song.

I think one of the highlights of this album is that little guitar riff before the chorus in Shades of Grey...i just love it...and that kind of raunchy sound of blonde over blue
