If I were forced to choose one Cohen album this would be it. High praise indeed. Never get tired of it, amazing!

What a great performance! Hopefully, the next Leonard Cohen’s next CD will be a collection of his Blues songs… Leonard Cohen Blues.

'Amen' was my favorite song off of Old Ideas, can't wait to hear this live version when the album is released.

The track list reveals a live performance of an excellent collection of Cohen’s legacy, both past songs and more recent additions to his library. I’m particularly looking forward to some of the songs that weren’t included on Live in London (Famous Blue Raincoat, Alexandra Leaving, The Partisan). One thing that I do hope that iTunes / Leonard Cohen will decide to do is to make the Concert Film, also due to be released on December 2, available in HD on iTunes. Cohen is a truly marvelous stage performer, one of the last truly classy musicians. You can see his live for Music (with a capital “M”) in the way he performs and interacts with humility with the audience. What a marvelous entry that would be, especially now that Cohen’s back catalog has been Mastered for iTunes.
