Beautifully moving poetry. Worth any price.

Two hundred years from now, people will listen to Bob Dylan, The Beatles and to Leonard Cohen when they excavate the great music of our popular culture. Like Yeats, LC wrote better and better until the day he no longer did, becoming simpler, denser, all the adjectives boiling away, the sentiment evaporating. If you get it, get it.

Anyone who thinks they can hear something as good in Starbucks or who feels $10 is too much to pay for the recordings of modern genius, shouldn’t be listening to Leonard Cohen at all. It was a privilege to have Leonard during our lifetimes, and those who don’t understand that obviously lack the intelligence and personal aesthetic needed to appreciate what they’re hearing. I challenge any of you to write poetry or music even comparable to what Leonard has given us. As the saying goes, “Those who can’t do, criticize.”

I heard an interview with Adam on NPR and came looking...His voice is so rich and resonant...I will listen and listen again....If you can’t afford 10$ don’t buy the recording and certainly don’t complain...the nerve.

This is an undeniable masterpiece and a perfect way to close out a great career. Adam did a great service to his father.

If you’re a fan of Leonard Cohen or the genre it’s not bad. A little pricey imo, but not bad. Not sure why I found it in the rock genre but
  • Leonard Cohen A Class Act

Having followed Leonard Cohen since he was a poet with no released music, I have witnessed his poetry grow from written word to contemplative song. His thoughts and insights have helped guide me well into my senior years. There are few poets/songwriters who can inspire one to look inward and outward, to appreciate the existence of the living and nonliving and to look for a spiritual essence in oneself and in another. What a class act he was and how fortunate we are to have more of his songs, especially after three years of his passing.
  • Sounds brillant to me

I did not like his last two albums as much as I liked 10 New Songs, The Future and I'm Your Man. This sounds really good and I would always prefer a short album that is no filler over a longer album which has lower quality offerings.
  • Why only 25 minutes ?

For $9.99 we should get more music. $4.99 should be max. Leonard Cohen is great. But price too high for the amount of music. iTunes should price by total minutes of music that’s on each realease.
