I am a BIG Jeff Beck fan. The camera work, directing and editing of this drove me flipping' nuts. This is JEFF BECK!!!!! What we want to see is JEFF PLAY IS DAMNED GUITAR. Not wide shots, 2 shots, behind the back shots, shots of the drummer, bassist, keyboardist ( as great as they are). WE WANT TO WATCH JEFF PLAY THE GUITAR. This director and his team were blind and clueless. ARRRRRRRGGGHHHHHH
The video clips sound better than the audio clips

I listened to the audio files first and was a little disappointed in the quality... but after watching the video clips it was well worth the $11.99. The audio on the video clips sounded better... It wasn't as great as the Live at Ronnie Scott's but Jeff plays different versions of the songs which shows he's always trying to keep us guessing.

I haven't even listened to one track yet, but having seen the show at the Fillmore in Detroit, all I can say is thanks for releasing this! Jeff Beck is alone in the pantheon of so called greats - he blows every other electric guitarist into the weeds!

It's pretty good. Not as good as Ronnie Scotts, but still good. Some problems is that hammer heads into isn't as good and this version of a day in the life isn't as good(but its still good). The highlights are the last two songs. I love the Les Paul tribute and the INSTRUMENTAL version of people get ready is really good as well. Over all this gets a solid 4/5.

An unexpected new Jeff Beck album is always a welcome thing. That this is live, in front of an audience, is an even better thing. The sounds that Jeff can coax out of his Fender Strat are otherworldly and nowhere is that more obvious than in a live setting. One of the great things about this new release, and it may also be the reason for its release, is that several songs from Beck's latest studio album, Emotion and Commotion, are represented here.
From Corpus Christi Carol to Hammerhead to the Beatles song, A Day In The Life and lastly, the lovely and amazing Nessun Dorma, the E&C selections are nice additions and I suspect this album may find its way next to the Live At Ronnie Scott's disc in my collection. If you know Jeff Beck then there's really nothing I can say... for you already know how special he is as a guitarist. If you are new to Jeff Beck, do yourself a favor and give him a listen to. I guarantee you that he will mesmerize you and blow you away.
