I thought her greatest hit album was the one but nope.

No one sounds like Anita Baker. She is jazz, soul and R&B. Her music paints a picture of how she feels. And her voice moves so fluidly from highs to lows . Anita please give up another album.

when this album first came out i was a young boy and i didnt know my behind from my head..now im 41yo and ive lived every song on this album..thanks Mrs Baker for waiting..loves this album

I love this album! I used to listen to it over & over in my car's cassette player! LOL I excited to see her albums in iTunes!! ;-) ENJOY!! She should be extremely famous, like at the top with Ella Fitzgerald, & Whitney Houston, etc. She has such a beautiful voice! Smooth, sensual yet strong & sings with conviction, a gorgeous clarity & consistency

Listen , first of all you have to have an appreciation of music in general and artistry at all to even appreciate the vocal power of Anita. Take a course (pick a vowel), get a clue!!! Go back to "No More Tears" from 'The Songstress' albulm and THEN try & decypher this albulm! Kudos, to the 1st Lady of Today's R&B!!! (note*= "I Apologise & "Body & Soul")

Anita delivers on every track of this album! Rhythm of love was on my Christmas list in '94 when it was released. I have been trapped in glorious fascination with her velvety smooth voice since first hearing "Body & Soul," almost twenty years ago. This album is heaven wrapped inside the vocal paradise of Anita's larynx, which showers down trinkets of melodic miracles into our ears, sending us into states of sheer, orgasmic pleasure.

Beautiful vocals and great music

Contrary to the review at the top of the page, there is nothing wrong with Anita Baker's music. "Rhythm of Love" is one of the best songs of all time. Anita Baker could sing her ABCs and it would be off the hook. Anita Baker's music is timeless and solid. You won't be disappointed with "Rhythm of Love."
