I don't know him much and haven't heard much from him but his version of Keep Me Hangin' On is by far the best version of this song and even much better than the Supremes which was considered as the original one. yet I don't hear much about his version. his voice fits this song more than anyone's and I just love how amazing is his version. his version of Keep Me Hangin' On is simply a masterpiece. the best.

I listen to this and I'm thirteen once again, discovering girls and no responsibility. Just having fun and cranking up the old stereo, when mom and dad weren't home! Ah, the memories!!

This album is very underated... Over the years I could never understand why this album never got the credit that it deserved... It has some really good music on it... Allmusic gave this album 2 stars & I feel that it deserves a better rating then that... I find it hard to believe that an album like Tonight I'm Yours gets 4 stars when in my opinion this album is much better....

My music preference hangs in the many categories but there are a few sentimental classics I file---of which Rod Stewart in stow. Tracks 5,6, and 7 all time favorites. To this day, I still get his assuaging version and some of these chant worthy lyrics calming my head on wistful days. I was a freshman in college 1978-79, got the album from an ex- (on again of again - you know the deal) - and this man, Rod, he sang me to sleep, sang me to the depths of my sadness, passion and back again in these tunes. I swear he saved me just knowing that he had loved -- a love that could never be... this man was my father.

A GREAT Rod Stewart record by the fact the BEST drummer he ever had is on this and helped write some songs the one and only drummer and living legend Carmine Appice .

Rod was fully in decline when he released FL&FF (known to the world as Fluff). He almost had something going with "I Was Only Joking" but almost doesn't cut it. He should wake up every morning and apologize to everyone he meets for "Hot Legs." This is still one of his best.

He has the quintessential rock vocie period. Hands down one of the great rock talents. From his days with The Faces, Jeff Beck Group, etc. Cheers, Rod!!
