    My son has this CD and after listening to it I had to get it for my IPod. Pretty embarrassing when I'm of the 60's generation. Only problem is 1st song Stand in The Fire doesn't start up until about 15 seconds go by and sometimes just jumps to 2nd or 3rd song. Anybody else experience this?

    This was my first Zevon album that I bought, and I know I paid more than $7.99, and it didn't have all the music you get with this one! It's a great sober Zevon album, with a very lively back up band!

    This album is great because it shows Warren's great range of songwriting. You get the fun songs, like Werewolves and Jeannie Needs a Shooter, but you also get the more heartfelt songs, like Hasten Down the Wind. All in all, one of the most charismatic performers to date. It's great to find an album that tries to capture his great range.

    Real tight energy by the whole band, great vocal expression by Mr. Zevon and unlike some live albums, the songs go beyond the studio versions in energy, complexity, execution and the live mix is done real fine. Can only agree with the other 5 star reviewers here. Prefer the fast songs, but that's just me. Personal favorite, Poor Poor pitiful me and Sleep when I'm dead (they run together on the album if not the cuts here). Love the guitar work.
