    I followed George Duke through the Zappa years and when "Faces" came out I picked it up and loved it. These first few MPS label Duke albums are the best in my opinion with more complex textures and creativity than the late 70's and 80's R&B funk pop stuff. Love all the synthesizers and of course much of the style and sound here has to be credited to Ndugu Leon Chancler, a very underated drummer. Fools is so tender it makes me cry!
