Love this album but my favorite is still "Love Peace Ukulele".
And for the person who says that the ukulele is a mandolin, so sorry but your wrong. It is the Hawaiin interpretation of a small guitar like instrument related to the braguinha, cavaquinho and the rajao. Being from Hawaii and portuguese, the Ukulele is its own instrument.
It is an exceptional instrument. Its range is amazing and Jake is a true master.

NO, you don't understand...I play guitar, and I've never seen someone play an ukelele so fast, or make it sound so much like a guitar. He's amazing. Shimabukuro is just incomprehensibly good. His music is good too, so this review isn't about just this one album. They're all good.

I just heard this guy for the first time here in Washington, DC on 2/17/2008. He was performing with the Air Force band. This was the best concert I have ever heard in my life. I went on a lark to hear this guy expecting it to be more of a light hearted show and ended up pulling out my hanky, it was just so darn beautiful. I will never forget this concert as long as I live. I haven't been this excited about music in years.

this is a great album. This guy actually has a video on youtube of his playing. A lot of people I know think the ukelele is a wierd instrument, but it's not. I like while my guitar gentley weeps.
