Where are any songs from fungus amongus?

Sorry, but being a long-time hardcore devoted listener of this band, you can't have an essential album of Incubus without a song like "The Warmth". That alone defeats the purpose of releasing something like this. Disappointing.

I think those people here that are complaining that this compilation is not for the hard core fans are missing the point of a greatest hits compilation. The Monuments and Melodies compilation was more of a fan's compilation than most big name bands put out these days, but all the Essential packages that major labels put out are realy to try to lure fans who may only know a band's biggest hits and on a whim want to get an album with all of them in one place. All the fans who own all the albums and have all the bonus tracks don't need an Essential Incubus because we already probably have a best of playlist on our iPods. The only necessity for one of the albums for us long time fans is if they included some never before released material. But complaining that it didn't include your favorite song or is pointless misses the point. These are usaully money grabs for the label. Let's just continue to support the band and their great music.

I Love INCUBUS Like LOVE INCUBUS

I love incubus but what is this album for ?? I have every album so I don't see the point of this like other ones said I can just make a playlist

I agree it's another monuments & melodies style album. Great for new fans and it would be simple to put together the album playlist for us fans that already own them all. To me this album is more than a playlist, it's an incubus album that needs to be included in my collection. I will not be buying from iTunes, but I will be purchasing the physical record. Maybe I'll even listen to it with a disc man when I work out. Can't wait to see the looks that get thrown my way.

Whoa! Where to start? Let me start by stating that this album (or compilation) is not necessarily for the hardcore fan base (like myself). Instead, this is for someone that may be new to Incubus or may not own all of the albums. Incubus is obviously one of the best artists out there today. They have consistently been able to keep up with the times and change their sound accordingly. I own every album, song and hidden track there is. This is an amazing buy for those of you who don't "know" Incubus or who don't own all of the albums. Don't hesitate to buy! For those of us that own all of the tracks the best option is to create a playlist title "The Essential Incubus" because it works out better that way. Regardless this is an amazing buy and an undoubtedly amazing collection of music.

I would recommend this to anybody who does not already own all the incubus albums.

…might as well make a playlist with all these songs and call it "The Essential Incubus." Would be pretty much the same thing. However, if you are new to Incubus and want a great selection of tracks then buying this album is a no brainer.

I can just make a playlist on my iPhone with all of these songs. No offense guys, but its kind of a waste of money to your true hardcore fans who probably already own all of these albums.
