  • Funeral Dirge

If you like funeral dirges, this album is for you. It’s not for me and is not anywhere close to what Incubus should sound like.
  • Beautiful album

Im going to admit that initially I was a little let down because the songs were “slow” but my god, this album is absolutely amazing. The album is totally underrated. I love every single song and I hope more people wake up and listen to it.
  • Best of their career...so far

Don’t get the hate for this album at all. Definitely their best. I can’t explain it, it just puts me in a good mood, and is so chill. A classic album.

....you might hate this album. I've been a fan since 1995 when I first saw them play in front of 25 people in a hole in the wall bar. I bought Fungus Amongus from Brandon himself that night and was hooked right away. They've put out amazing music for a long time, but this is not the Incubus I know. There's 1 good song- Adolescents. The rest is elevator music. Please, get back to your roots and write the music we all loved.
  • This is an ok album

Even though I only started to listen to incubus around the time of “Light Grenades”, i have heard and owned all 7 of their albums ever since. I am a huge fan and i will admit that when i heard this album, I was slightly disappointed. Between the 5 year hiatus of the band, they all went to explore their different musical venues and perspectives. Mike went to collage, ben came out with a solo record, brandon released his solo record, Jose had a kid, and Chris perfected his musical skills. Their work during the break really shows in this record. It is not as hard and energy pack as their earlier work, but it still has a great , melodic, soft, graceful, rock sound that still sounds like incubus (all except “Tomorrow’s food”). Its worth the money, and worth a few listens. Everyone who is but hurt that it don sound like “S.C.I.E.N.C.E.”, "Make Yourself”, or “Morning View”, need to shut up and give this a chance. If you consider yourself a lover of music of all types won’t judge the band for going a different direction. Overall, pretty good album, however for their 8th album, if I wish for them to go back to a certain sound, let it be mellow yet hard like “Crow Left of the Murder” or “Light Grenades”. “If Not Now, When?”: 3/5

Amazing album!!! Different from past albums but they are a very unique band and I absolutely enjoyed this album from start to finish.

This album is just not Incubus. To those who say you have to grow with the band... I agree to a certain extend. But at the same time, why did we all start listening to them? What album, what song was it that caught you about these guys? I bet it was one that is nothing at all like the songs on this CD. We can only hope they make a return to what they once were like.

Been a fan of incubus since I first heard them. True their albums of late are very much different then their original sound. I hated Light Grenades when I first heard it, But for some reason now at this time in my life I like it. My point being that just becuase you dont like the sound now doesent mean down the road you wont.

To me Incubus has always been about chillaxing and rocking out. Not with this album. A band can grow and expand without killing off the sound that made them unique in the first place. With the exception of one song, that's exactly what this album did. Don't get me wrong it's ok just not something I would recommend to anyone
  • What the hell happened?

This band used to mix funk and metal like nobodies business. This alt/emo crap they put out now just makes me sad. What happened to Brandon? I think he's being held hostage by record companies, and there's a doppelgänger masquerading in his stead. Or has he really gotten this old and sappy?
