listening to this sister act, I get the sense that this isn't just some rehashed b.s.....Sometimes, it just seems that bands slap together their version of a recipe that some exec. tells them that we want. I listened, listened some more, and went back for seconds... delicious.

This is a great single with traditional complexities executed with abstracted instruments. It's easy for folk artists to incorporate a miriad of instruments to cloud weak vocals and songwriting. It's obvious with F.A.K, the message and simplicity is their strength, drawing from singers like Dement, who slays any pop country/folk artist IMHO.
