this is probably my favorite show of the "island tour" . The Birds>2001>brother is an insane jam. ghost>lizards>bowie is real tasty too. and finally, the hood at the end is the perfect cap off to a really great show. the show definitely has the funk if thats what you came for, i know its why i'm here! get this

This show was from the island tour, 4 shows, 2 on Long Island and 2 in Rhode Island. In my opinion it's as good as Phish gets.

Phish went through various phases during their career and individually continue those progressions. However, in this phans opinion, late 1997 into most of 1998 was just flat out ridiculous porn funk. This show is no exception. In specific the 2nd set of this show highlights this in nearly every song. Live Phish is probably cheaper to purchase the whole Island Tour 1998, which all four shows all are cant miss shows, but even at $18, this is an absolute steal. This was my favorite of the four night stand. The 1997 Walnut Creek show that just got uploaded is sick too. Prime Phish!!!!
