Love 3eb, seriously do. Always gave them respect. But this just isn't happening. Hard to do JR Cash covers- he does yours instead! Adding Merle a nice touch. But overall doesn't work. See Live's cover of Walk the Line. Skip it! Buy Ursa Major 1st.

I've never really heard a J.C. cover worth getting excited about, it's just too hard to touch the master. But this one is a real pleasure, because the band has taken a fresh approach and brought out new emotions in doing so. Obviously it was good enough for Merle Haggard (that is him singing, right?) And he was a close friend to the man. Hadn't heard of TEB but I'm now a fan.
