I just saw him Live in NYC at MSG with Victor Manuelle. Terrible! If you think his records are bad, go see him LIVE. It gets much worse. What a dissapointment. He is a great talent but the material is poor and does not swing. He does not sing his good music live either. He most likely puts these slow records out because his voice can't take it anymore. It happens to the best of them. After these last few disappointing records, he should think about only putting out "SONGS" instead of full records.

Why is it impossible for this man to make a bad album? His music is amazing and the words are full emotion and meaning all the while maintaing hot and danceable beats. Just put the CD in and press play, no need to "skip" "forward" or "stop".

Definitivamente la balada no le queda. Lo otro es que ya no quedan soneros de alta calidad que le pongan sabor a la orquesta y al bailador, Gilberto es de los pocos buenos soneros que quedan y es una vedadera lastima que desperdicie su talento cantando salsa monga. Tuvimos que soportar la epoca de salsa monga y eso quedo atras. Por que Gilberto se empena en mantener la monguera viva? El CD esta mas barato en la tienda.
