Finally Some Rock

Wilco's new albums A Ghost is Born and Sky Blue Sky have lacked one big quality. Up-beat real rock-n-roll. I think the song The Thanks I Get is a way for them to show America they can still rock out even when Jeff Tweed is loosing his voice.
Love the Song, But Wish I Hadn't Bought It

If you have a physical copy of Sky Blue Sky like I do, put it in your computer, open the little flash gizmo and save yourself the buck. Wilco has put bonus content on their last 3 discs and this song is one of the bonus downloads that comes for free with the CD version of SBS.
Thanks Volkswagen!

I've been a big Wilco fan for the past 5 years, thought I had every version of every song. I heard this song for the first time on a Volkswagen commercial and was so happy to have a new Wilco song to download. If you're already a fan you'll love it; if not, its a nice introduction to a band that has a variety of great albums behind them. Check it out!
hahahah yeah

i dig the piano. i agree with another reviewer that they should have included this song on Sky Blue Sky.
A "must have" for any Wilco fan (Tweedy Does it Again...)

Yet another great song that taps in to Wilco's pop sensibility while still employing all the great alt-country and jam band elements that make so much of their music so phenomenal. If I've said it once...Jeff Tweedy is a genius!
Should Have Been on SBS

This is a decent up-tempo song that would have given some punch to Sky Blue Sky and made it seem less static. As much as I like the album, I find it hard to listen to all the way through because it's just relentlessly slow, much like R.E.M.'s "Around the Sun.''
Thanks I Get

for getting this song stuck in my head. I love the kind of slow swagger this song displays. For some reason this song reminds me of that Stealer's Wheel song "Stuck in the Middle".
I could see myself being at a party dancing with my girl to this song. Good stuff.
