Absolutely amazing. The richness of each character’s theme is unparalleled. Amazon did not hold back spending money and allowing McCreary to write for the size orchestra that would do justice to the epic world of Lord of The Rings. McCreary’s compositions have gotten better and better over time and Battlestar Galactica was already amazing to begin with.

Went into this thinking I would hate it as a die hard fan. Thank goodness for my dad as he started watching it without me and told me to just try it and that it was good. Thought of it like a fanfic and absolutely loved the show and the music. It respects the material that came before and subverts expectations. Would say to watch to the end and not get hung up on any one facet. If you enjoyed the shadow of Mordor video games you will probably enjoy this

Obviously different from Shore but does a great job of instilling the same hopeful feeling we get from the LotR soundtrack. Some of the themes like Khazad-dum and the Stranger are wonderful.
