Sammy, thank you for this album. Country music has become way to POP these days and has totally lost the sound that we all know. All of these artists that are coming out will not have the careers that the pioneers had, because they all sound the same.

There is probably not anyone that could capture George as good as Sammy Kershaw, but he'd done better just singing the songs and not trying to sound like him so much, he sounds like he had a chew or some gum in his mouth on this album. Still, if you like George and you like Sammy, this is a great tribute album... I doubt seriously anyone could do any better. No one could ever replace George Jones and Vern Gosdin... thank God we still have Sammy Kershaw!
George would be proud!

We met back stage at the opry once when Pete introduced us. My father played lead guitar for 9 years for George in the early days and you were so kind to him and he has been hooked as a fan since then. He is excited to see you doing this album. We have been waiting for it to arrive and are downloading it as we speak. Hope to see you again soon Sammy! Let us know if you want a song dad and them were working on that "almost" got finished.

I listen thee other night to the Radio show and listen, really listened to the stories you told and you had me hanging on to every word. You made feel as if I were there with you. The songs on this album really show the influence Mr Jones had on you. I rally believe George would have been very proud of the work you did on this tribute to him. Your a mans man and tell it just as it is, a lot like George did with a song, thanks again Sammy, if they ever make a movie I hope your the one to play the part and do the singing. I cannot think of anyone else that could make it anymore "Real" then you!

Fell upon this album tonight by accident. I was looking to download "Tramp on your street" and couldn't find it, so I looked up George's albums and that's when I saw this tribute album. Sure wished I could have heard George sing "Do you know me" closed my eyes while Sammy sang it and I could imagine Mr. Jones singing so naturally amazing!! Sure do miss the Possum!! His presence will always be with us ❤️
