Live At Paradiso

I have become a huge fan of Beth Hart. Discovered her through her work with Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Beck, and Slash. Her voice was simply amazing so I researched her work and found a truly, truly talented artist with incredible range, depth, passion, and emotion. This album in particular is arguably her best work. You see a glimpse, back in time, of raw, pure talent. She holds nothing held back. Her words and passion take you to places where you are left awestruck and stunned. No fluff or overtly commercial songs; in fact almost the opposite. I love all of her songs, though I thought Immortal and her Led Zeppelin cover were just good. Everything else is a 10/10. Probably one of my top 10 blues albums.

Simply amazing!

Someone had commented that this woman is a force of nature and they are absolutely right! I discovered her music at a listening station at Tower Records several years back, with her album, Leave The Light On. I have loved her work ever since. This album is great! Like being on a roller coaster. Some of the songs are rockin and some are more tender. All of them cut to the core and get right to the guts. My only complaint (and this is for iTunes) where is 'Hiding Under Water'? It is an amazing, amazing song and should be included in the album.

Wrestling with her musical demons on the stage for all to see....raw, pure and emotionally charged Beth Hart is a surge of electricity through my soul. I have rarely come across an artist that speaks and actually says something of substance. Her live performance is breathtaking, mesmorizing and at times reflectively sad. There is little doubt of the authentic nature of her pain...I for one am happy to share with her each of those scars....

I was just at a dance competition and heard Hiding under water liike 20 times and I came home to buy it on iTunes and I cannot find it anywhere even though it is apparently supposed to be on this cd....other than that I love her music

I first discovered her in 2000 and I've been hooked since. She's inspired me to pursue music and push myself to be not only a better singer but an honest and free singer that isn't afraid to put it all out there. She's amazing and completely under rated in my opinion. Thank you Beth for rocking SO hard!!!!
