Choice Country Cuts: Juice Newton

I read the reviews but I bought the album anyway and loved it. I just saw her in concert last Friday Oct. 24, 2008 and these songs sounded just like she did in real life. She explained before beginning that the songs that night would be accoustical. It was a great sound and quite a change. She gave an awesome concert. I know the others who bought this album were expecting something different, but as I said I loved it. Great memories.
Yuck

Totally dissapointing and not what I expected. Should've sampled first.
These are not the orginal recordings...and the mix stinks.

This is a collection of her hits that were recently rerecorded by Juice herself. The audio is echo-ey and poorly mixed. You're better off downloading her Capitol Records pop hits (1981's Angel of the Morning through 1983's Tell Her No ) from her Greatest Hits and More CD and waiting for the RCA country stuff to be released on Itunes in the future. Too bad - the song selection here includes all of her hits... but the mix makes this a clinker. :(
Not Quite the Original

Glad I listened to the samples before buying. While the album has a great selection of songs, the music does not quite seem to have the energy of the original recordings. It could just be my speakers, but it does not sound quite right.
