Anthem Lights Covers Part II

GUYS JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE A CHRISTIAN BAND DOESN'T MEAN THEY HAVE TO ONLY SING CHRISTIAN. LOOK AT CARRIE UNDERWOOD! THE MUSIC DOESN'T PROMOTE SIN 😂😂😂 IT'S JUST FUN MUSIC.

Okay so I've listen to Anthem Lights for like... Forever. These guys are so great and their hearts are really on the right place. :) they are trying to spread Gods work and they use some of the pop songs of today. If you've listened to them for long you'll know that they take out most if not all of the lyrics that refer to things of this world. I absolutely LOVE Anthem Lights. :-))

Are they a Christian band or not. Yeah, they harmonize well, and yeah, they can adapt songs well, but do they really look at what songs they’re doing or literally just go for the most popular at the time. I really don’t want to see a band of such promise and blessing go down like this. I mean, I used to be just like that, singing the songs that sounded really good, but then a friend showed me all the negative things that come along with songs beside if they curse or talk about the obvious negative (drugs, violence, etc). And there are a lot of people who will say the songs they are covering are just fine, except for when you look at the original person who sang them, or wrote them. Are they good too? And what other spiritual aspects are their music bringing to Anthem Lights and all their listeners. I find it weird how they are covering Roar by Katy Perry and it’s sister song “Dark Horse” is as demonic as they come. ANTHEM LIGHTS- you have so much god-given talents, now finish the circle and give the talents back to God. Praise him instead, because the if anyone heard this album, they would never believe that God was even in the same area, let alone the band. YOU COULD DO BETTER. P.S. I gave two stars because the band does sound good, which deserves one star, but one is like zero on this thing.

Don't you think they can reach a greater audience singing secular songs as well as Christian?

Justin Timberlake is awesome, but I gotta say Anthem lights does it better and I didnt think that even possible!

I love their songs on KLOVE but when we heard their mash-ups we fell in love more. They are a great witness to teens & Young adults who are listening to all types of music. They did a great job getting in the door to all genres & their profiles/info shows their true passion.

I really loved this song. Anthem Lights are an amazing christian group that spread the love of Jesus everywhere. They do sing some secular songs but really do a good mash-up with them and i love the way they sound. Good job Anthem Lights! You guys ROCK!

Don't get me wrong, this is a great album, but... I thought this was the Christian genre not like pop. They're great mash-ups, but for all the wrong reasons. It is very hard for people, especially teens, to try and get away from this music so they can be closer to God, but this is pushing them in the wrong direction.
