Sanctus Real’s albums (especially their earlier releases like “Fight The Tide”) are teaming with that raw, heartfelt, solid sound and lyrical content that their post-“Pieces Of A Real Heart” releases seriously lack. It’s important for bands to evolve as a whole, but sacrificing your signature components for the sake of appealing to the change of the times is far from maintaining a genuine and unique role or relationship in the christian music industry, or any industry for that matter.
