Wiser for the Time (Live)

While it may be "The Black Crowes", $19.99 is way too expensive! Are they trying to be sell-outs here? I thought they just played for fun nowadays, they can't be that poor! I just hope they come out with some new studio tracks soon, that would be very great!

I been a long time BC fan as is everybody is on the review, but we need new material! And stop changing guitar players…just when I get used to Luther, you bring in someone else….the quality is and I doubt I will buy it the whole recording.

I adore the Black Crowes, but why call it Wiser for the Time and not have Wiser Time on the album?

If you're already a fan u will love this album. It's perfect for hangin out with friends n playing all the way thru as background music. The transition from one song to the next flows seamlessly. All in all you can't go wrong with this one. Throw it on turn it up n u won't hear any complaints.

Let me start by stating, I have been a die hard Crowes fan for many years, since I first saw them live in 1995 and even now after attending more than 20 shows since. Having said that, I am disappointed in this "new" release. There is no real flow to this one, just a bunch of live songs thrown together for a cash grab. There are some highlights including 'Exit' and 'My Morning Song/Stare it Cold'. Otherwise, nothing we haven't already heard/paid for before. I strongly recommend using the 20 bucks you would've spent buying this one on any of the 2010 San Francisco shows available on iTunes. My personal favs are 12/12 and 12/15. or better yet, goto the liveblackcrowes website and get the 11/20/2008 show in Houston TX. Dream setlist, high energy and very good quality for half the price. I am looking forward to seeing the boys with Jackie Greene this year and maybe a genuine "new release" in the near future ?

Songs are better recordings and sound better than the Live at the Fillmore series available on itunes. There are a few songs I wish they would have included but its still great. I am very happy with it, cant wait until Nashville 04/20-21.

The Black Crowes have always been Truly Amazing........LIVE, they are a band of gypsies that are Magical.

Little bit acoustic & lil' bit electric. I was at these shows in NYC in 2010 and the Crowes were excellent those nights. Finally selections of these shows get released! Great song selection of some fan favorites and then some rarities such as Exit which sounds killer!!!
