The album itself is decent, the best song being 'Man Who Has Everything' w/it's reggae beat, but she is SO much better than this! Where is the oomph? Singers like Lady Gaga sell more albums not because they're better singers, but because they are/have better songwriters that give the music some get up and go, ya know? She is right up there w/Mariah & Whitney, but doesn't put those vocals in her music other than in a few songs - what's up w/that? I want some vocal-wrenching tear-jerkers, not ballads, but music that touches your SOUL because the pitches reached are so amazing that it brings you to tears, like early Whitney, and some that make me start to dance even if I'm seated and doing the "chair boogie"! THAT makes a good album & she has what it takes, but never goes out on that ledge far enough....
I missed Monica!!
