This is the sound of gulf coast Texas in the 90's and part of the foundation of the Texas sound and a hard to duplicate style referred to by Mr Butler as Country Rap Tunes

I Grew up in the 90's in Port Arthur,Tx ,where UGK's from and if U weren't jammin to UGK at that time you weren't jammin to sh$?. its so ironic that song "one day ur here and then u gone "because Pimp C is no longer with us physically but he always lives on through his music ..... RIP

UGK always brought it with every album. This one might be their best if not for the classic double album they released. RIP Pimp C.

Finally! I-tunes you have the best U.G.K. album. This is a classic to me one of my all time favorite albums; it is a shame that it has only two comments.

This the album that started help pioneer the southern sound, thanks to some excellent by Pimp C and his crew. I wished I could add a half a star to this, the production is amazing. Of course, Front, Back & Side to Side is a great song and probably the most recognized track on this album, but the songs that are the most intriguing to me in Three Sixteens and I Left it Wet For You, mainly because of the beats. Both have slick beats in the backdrop that make you wanna bang it through your whip. Both Bun B and Pimp C also made strides in their rapping, although they would continue to improve later in their careers. The lyrics are pretty much the same, and both don't cover any more or less in subject matter than off of Too Hard to Swallow. And if your sensitive to vulgar language and profanity, this album is definitely not for you. However, if your able to enjoy this type of production and Bun and Pimp talks as life as southern gangbangas, this album won't disappoint.
