As bun b and (Rip ) pimp c sit in c- notes (of the botany boys) -suburban on blades you already know the album is going to represent h town (south and north sides of h town) No other album matches the reality of this album. As a young kid who grew up watching and trying not to fall into the pitfalls of growing up in a economically segregated south side area of houston (hllwood/cloverland) The streets would eat young boys up via dope arrests and street violence bun and pimp in riding dirty gave young boys hope in the south. They talked about what was going on in the south via Louisiana Texas Mississippi Georgia Alabama etc. young kids who had been dealt bad hands from the start now at least saw an ought via telling their stories and dreams. Tying in the reality of the south without any fluff put this album as one of the top 10 albums ever made cover to cover. Hey as father of three happily married for over 20 years working in the field of law enforcement I still jam my riding dirty. Riding dirty instant classic

This album has platinum written all over it it. Just sheer quality and superb production. It doesn't try to overwhelm you like alotta albums that have like 25 tracks and more than half are mediocre. I guarantee that if they had made some videos and if Jive had promoted it even betta it could have at least went platinum. look at e40 in a major way (one my fav mcs) which was also released on Jive a year before, that managed to hit platinum and 40 wasn't even that well known then. and by the way change the album review iTunes lol you guys should know that this is their THIRD MAJOR release lol they were signed to jive since 92 started with too hard too swallow and then super tight in 94
