I'm a Hot Mess, Help Me - The Remix EP

WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?! I miss my old Cobra Starship. don't get me wrong, Hot Mess is an OK album but what happened to the REAL Cobra? not this poppy crap~! =( I'm glad they are getting discovered more and have more hits but they are losing their originality.

don't get me wrong. cobra starship is my favorite band and has been for a little more than two years. [saw them live at the too fast for love tour this summer by the way, they were amazing.] but i don't like the direction they're going in. they were more...original. all of their songs used to sound different, now they pretty much sound..all the same...and these remixes aren't helping. i just hope they don't become sellouts.

don't understand that... Cobra Starship NEEDS the money in order to keep playing for us, the FANS. They're not just in it for the money, they love us, and thank us every chance they get. Just because they got famous, doesn't mean they've changed. They're stilll the same guys and girl, and always will be. They have money because they're talented and deserve it. You can't expect them to be underground forever. They've been around for 3-4 years now, and it's about time they get appreciated for it. I've loved cobra starship from the start and I think they're amazing still. Famous or not, they're still my favorite band.

You cant really call yourself a cobra fan if you only know like 2 songs! Their musical style might have changed, and I miss it, but that doesn't mean I still don't like their new stuff. They are still amazing :D

Seriously what happened to this band. The more they put out the more disappointing things get. First Hot Mess and now this. I want my second favorite band back.

LOVE this album!!! The Cirkut Remix is the best, because it doesn't elongate the song too much and adds a crazy beat that is different from the original Hot Mess. The Nervo Remix is great for dancing too, or anything for that matter [I find Cobra Starship in general great for anything]. The Suave Suarez On Pleasure Ryland Remix is generally awesome, and truly came from the amazing bassist and guitarist, Ryland and Alex. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Now, don't get me wrong, I totally love Cobra Starship. They are my all time favorite band, and they have been for the last two years. I'm just beginning to get a little disappointed. While the City Sleeps was the freaking best thing to ever hit the earth. I miss that. I'm so happy for the band that they are actually becoming big, but it does make me sad. I've always loved how CS was different. You could never say a band sounds exactly like Cobra Starship, because no one comes near. Now of course, as they become big, they want to please the majority. I don't blame them. But again, it somewhat saddens me. I still am totally in love with them, though. Gabriel and I are going to get married, move to Alaska, and have Alaskan babies. ;D Nonetheless, I am staying a faithful fan of Cobra Starship, no matter what direction they go in. I will support them al the way and you should, too. Fangs up!
