Is it your "typical" Harry Connick Jr.? No, not really, but it is a great song that was written for a specific purpose. It not only fits well to that purpose, but also shows how talented and versatile a musician he is. To be able to go out of what some might call his "comfort zone" and still have a solid performance like this is a testament to how gifted he really is. IMHO, it (along with the rest of the Christmas album it's a part of) is well worth the money.

I think if people understood where this song came from, they might feel differently about it. Harry wrote it for the women who are going through the trials of breast cancer. In his recent TV movie "Living Proof" Harry portrayed the doctor who developed the drug to help fight breast cancer. Buy this song and Sony will make a donation to breast cancer charities
  • Way to go Harry!!

I am a Breast Cancer Survivor. I just watched the movie "Living Proof" and all I can say is...Thank God for people like Dr. Dennis Slamen. Because of his fight women, like me, have a fighting chance against Breast Cancer. Also, BRAVO to Harry Connick Jr. who did a superb job portraying him in the movie. I absolutely love the song...I have already downloaded it on to my iPod.

I just finished watching this movie, this man is awesome, and this beautiful song is for those who has loved and/or lost someone to cancer and any other life threatening desease! Wake Up, people! This song isn't about Harry, it's about Hope! Mr.Connick; I salute you, job well done and point taken! I would've thought you had more compassionate fans! Still it doesn't take away from a job well done! Bravo!

People please! This song is very fitting for it's intended purpose. The song is the theme song for Living Proof. A movie about a man who was determined to offer hope to hopeless women suffering from cancer. My mother is a cancer survivor and I thank God for anyone who is willing to assist. Even if it is a song of hope! Get over yourselves and care about others. I hope you never need this song.

Harry is an artist, he evolves with his art. I'm floored by people who want to pigeon hole him into strictly "When Harry Met Sally" or "We Are In Love" era. I love everything he does because his heart and soul is in it. This song? Was inspired for all the right reasons and was eloquently written. I'm sure it's very personal to him as well as he lost his own mother from cancer.

Harry needs to have a band behind him, a big band. Harry Connick, Jr. got me to love big band and jazz. This is a joke. Kinda sad really.
  • I Love Harry Connick, but NOT this!

Harry Connick is one of my favorite artists - even danced to one of his tunes at my wedding. However, this is not the Harry Connick that I love. The tune is slow, and his choice of Kim Burrell is a bad one. Their voices don't seem to harmonize well to my ear, and the monotonous pace of the piece doesn't work for me. Buy other Harry songs, but I would avoid this one.
