  • Hey! That sounds like Bryan Lee

Bryan, the "Braille Blues Daddy" Lee, from up here in Two Rivers WI wrote and sings "Tina Marie" and takes the spotlight on guitar, and of course all of the vocal because KWS can't sing well. This is Kenny's payback for Bryan nurturing him at age 13 at the Old Absynthe in New Orleans. If you've never heard any Bryan Lee, start sampling, especially "29 Ways", "Six String Therapy" and "Natural Ball." Bryan is a treasure you should all discover. His inablity to see gives his voice and guitar that extra soul.

If Blue on Black is the only song you've heard by Kenny Wayne then you haven't heard his best. He just gets better and better. If SRV were alive, he'd be jamming with KWS.
  • Very cooooool ...

To say blues guitar died with the late great SRV, is like saying R&R died with Elvis ... unbelievable. SRV will never be replaced, but the music lives on through those who carry the torch. Anyway, good tracks Kenny and good to see guitar playing of such has not withered away and succumbed to the ever lingering bling of pop-music ... or should I say Rap? Refreshing Kenny ... thanks!

Words can not express how thrilled I am to hear his voice.... You just don't hear this music anymore. It chills, thrills and fills you with so much emotion.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd...oh yeah, he's that guy that did that "Blue on Black" song! That song was kickass...10 years ago. Blues guitar died with Stevie Ray Vaughn, give it up Kenny.
  • Great follow up

This is a great follow up to "10 Days Out". Nice to see some other cuts that weren't on the original album. These are some great polished tracks for those of you into the more full sounding blues. All great tracks too.
