About 4 years ago my girlfriend asked me if I had ever heard of John West. When I replied no, she whipped out a CD hit play and smirked, awaiting my reaction. I have been hooked on his music since the first notes of "Gravity" wafted into my ears. Just recently did I discover his music was available on iTunes. I immediately downloaded a copy for myself. With vocals that I like to describe as "scratchy smooth", the honest sound of his guitar and the soul that is evident in his music, the man can't miss. Buy this album. Now. That way, a year from now when he blows up in the music industry and your friends are asking you if you've ever heard of John West you can say, "Please. I was onto him from the jump." ;)

I Love this album and the other 2 that I bought from him in Santa Monica!!!!! Seeing him live is a whole other experience!!!!! You must see him if you live here on the West coast!!!! I want more music and I think he should be signed already, but alas, not yet!

Found this gem of an artist a few years back while searching for family members on MySpace. Well, although I am in no relation to John, I discovered an artist whose music possesses soulful arrangements and a voice that captures the listener. Fellas, the ladies love John. Two words: PANTY MELTER.

If I had to pick one word to describe John West's music, it would be INTOXICATING. My daughter and I were in Santa Monica at the 3rd St Promenade. As soon as we got to 3rd St, we heard this voice and this guitar and we stopped in our tracks. When he was done with just one song, I bought all 3 of his cds from him. That was Sat 7/25...today is Sat 8/1 and I have not stopped listening yet and I don't think I ever will. With all the junk that's out now, it's really nice to hear some "real music" for a change. I'm in love <3 Thanks John!

I was in santa monica for the 4th of july and walking the promamade all the sudden i start hear this amazing voice and skills on the guitar John West is definitely HOT love the music its catchy and mellow anyone would love it, doesnt hurt that he is good looking in the process keep em coming
