Excellent live recording from Billy Cobham. Features a great jazz-fusion guitarist in John Abercrombie and the Brecker Brothers on trumpet and sax. Has two new titles plus two titles from Spectrum Cobhams tremendous first solo album featuring Tommy Bolin on guitar. Shabazz completely blows away the Live Lp from Cobham-Duke band released a couple of years later. Title cut "Shabazz" is one of Cobham's best compositions. You will be hard put to find the Brecker Bros. playing any harder or better than on this cut. The Tenth Pinn also includes one of Cobham's finest drum solo's. The two cuts from Spectrum have been re-worked and are also superb. The best part of all is you can purchase this CD on I-Tunes for $3.49. Simply put its a steal at this price so check it out
