Bluntly, I'm really sorry I bought this album. I liked Film Noir and Moonlight Serenade so I figured to give this album a go. Well, I listened once - and never again.
This album has to have been targeted at young couples with toddlers. It is so bland and safe I feel as if I inadvertently opened a door at a G rated sappy recital for a child care center.
The best thing about this song list: It deliver clean and understandable songs thus making it a good resource for lyrics. Now, memorize the words and go sing you kids to sleep.

HOTCAKES was my favorite Album of Carly's, read her book also, gave really great detail of her Love for her mom, and their struggles. Shes always been an amazing Talent, Not just a Rich kid, who is from Money Simon and Shuster Publishing, she is Her own woman, all these young girls coming up on the music scene, should take Note, what one who has had much, has done for herself, and never forget what she has done for us at the same time. BUY this CD

I Love Carly Simon and will always be a fan but everything is wrong on this album.The song choices the arrangements and even the track layering is totally Wayne's World.This album hurts Carly Simon's presence as a viable artist in today's music.I really want a refund and I skip every song when it starts in my I-Pod.Forgive me Carly.
