  • Sounds great but.....

The concert sounds great quick pace jamming but I guess I should of looked at it more before I bought thought it would be more traditional Allman brothers like Filmore East show. In Southbound if didn't hear that I wouldn't recognize the song but it's a good jam show !

I was at one of the Beacon shows that run . The Best Allman's line up ever! Warren and Woody 3/4s of Govt Mule! are you kidding. Dicky Betts playing at his best with these guys.

The Allman Brothers were on top of their game when this was recorded in the 90's. I still think it's one of the top music picks of the nineties.

The beauty of the Allman Brothers lies with their guitars. They have been blessed (sometimes tragically) with four of the greatest guitar players of all time. No matter the combination, they sound fabulous! In this case the duo of Dickey Betts and Warren Haynes brings new life to these AMB classics. The highlight is Blue Sky, where Dickey and Warren take a country song that was never one of my favorites and turn it into a dueling guitar classic! Well worth the price and the listen!

Dicky Betts and Warren Haynes truly are way way way better live than on a studio track, this album is evidence. This is one of my all-time favorite bands and I have had the privilidge of seeing them twice, both times with Derek Trucks who is an amazing guitarist but won't be able to bring to the band what Dicky Betts did. GO SEE THIS BAND LIVE NOW!
