Highly recommend. Coincidentally I got this show as a bootleg disc back in my junior year of college (in 1997), then entitled, "Southern Revenge" from a music store on the square in Oxford, Mississippi. These are easily some of the best takes of their most hallowed tunes. If you like raw, Allman energy played in their absolute prime, this album and Ludlow far exceed the more popular Fillmore recordings on the whole.
  • Amazing Alternative Sonic Picture of ABB

Absolutely amazing to hear the core of the well-known Fillmore East set in a different setting and with differing solos and emphases. Occasionally Greg is on piano here when he'll be on organ on that well-known set of dates. Great mix, allowing many different nuances, many different facets of of ABB to shine bright.

If you are an ABB fan, you got to get this killer live studio recorded album. So clean and tight, you'd think the Allmans just recorded it instead of 1971. No whipping Post, but doesn't matter. Say you want some Allman jams, you got it here brother.

This is an album that any Allman Brothers fan must have. Everything is so clean and so strong you'll enjoy listening to it over and over again. Amazing commentary by Duane for his dear friend King Curtis who was killed that very weak. Duane came and did this recording and put all of his heart and soul into it. This is a must have!
