The orchestra arrangement of Piazzolla's sensual melancholic milonga Oblivion is by far the best I've ever heard. Lucia's searing violin playing the melody line is unforgettable and very moving. I can listen to on repeat forever, that's how beautiful. Worth the price of the entire album and much more! Brava!!
  • Love her music but...

I love her music but i wanted to specifically buy "to love you more" and I did... And it was misplaced. I could not find any easy way to get help and fix the problem so i had to buy another one, the one that really plays the song i needed ... With the wrong tittle.

I too like everyone else was introduced to her through Josh Groban. Her passion comes through immensely while she plays.

Music is so beautiful and hypnotic it makes me feel like I'm flying! I absolutely love this!! I would advise anyone to buy this!! For your kids, yourself, your husband anyone. As a nurse I would say buy it for someone with high blood pressure ...it's so beautiful, an escape. It's so uplifting and relaxing. It's just a joy.

If anyone is looking for a passionate violinist, look no further than Lucia Micarelli. Riveting, majestic, awe-inspiring; superb, tear-jerking, provoking. This is the purest, most goosebump-inducing album I own. Try out 'Aurora' if you want a sample of what she is capable of. You bought good speakers, right? Then put them to good use! 'Music from a Farther Room' is an ineffably spectacular piece of work.

Lucia is such a beautiful and talented person. I am so glad I was able to be a part of Treme with her. Her music and screen presence is absolutely captivating. Support this amazing musician, people. New orleans will always welcome ya, darlin'.

I really love Lucia Micarelli and her album "Music From a Further Room". To me, this album really tells stories in each piece. My favorite is Samarkand. My high school's winterguard performed their program to this song. I love it so much!
  • Lucia is a one of a kind artist that should be supported!

I'm not a huge Classical music fan but after I had a chance to see Lucia play I was amazed. She plays the violin but she has a rockstar spirit mixed with soul that makes for really cool music, it doesn't hurt that she's easy on the eyes and has a good sense of fashion also! Though seeing her play live cant be duplicated, this album gives you a good sense of her creativity and soul. Some Classical albums are full of the same old song done 1000 times over, Lucia breaks from the trend and makes some original sounding stuff! If you dont already have this cool album do yourself a favor and go get it!

Finally they fixed the problem with To Love You More, however they accidentally titled it Portrait. In case that it is not fixed just look at the times, Portrait should be 5:08 and To Love You More should be 4:32. GREAT ALBUM!

I originally saw her at a Josh Groban concert a couple of years ago. Then we saw her again at another Groban concert last year. She performed Kashmir by Led Zeppelin, and it was absolutely amazing. I absolutely love Nocturne from Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) Lady Grinning Soul (David Bowie) and Assez Vif - Tres Rythme from String Quartet in F Major. All 3 called out to me the first time I heard this album. My only complaint (and this is nothing to Ms. Micarelli's music...) iTunes goofed... Track 5, To Love You More, is actually a repeat of Nocturne from Bohemian Rhapsody. Hopefully someday they will fix this so I can get that particular song... But with that one exception, the album is incredible.
