  • Young and coming greatness

I love this band and this album. Their blend of the pedal steel guitar and and funky rock and roll make for some great music. Robert Randolph is especially talented with that guitar; shredding it to its full potential in every solo on this album. The underrated songs are endless on this album. The non singles such as "Love is the Only Way" and "Blessed", along with the GREAT singles "Thrill of It" and "Aint Nothing Wrong With That" make for a great album.

Robert Randolph will blow your mind. He is wonderful live, and his studio albums mirror the same energy and melodic funky grooves that you would experience in concert. Any of his work is must-have music that will be the perfect compliment to your great day, or carry you through a terrible one. Amazing virtuosity on the guitar, with the Family Band always in the pocket, you can't go wrong.

Very solid CD. Honestly, I like almost every song on here. It is really upbeat, "I enjoy life" kind of music, and it makes me want to dance. RR is a studmuffin.

I got into this band a few years ago, and I've seen them in concert one (which is amazing) and this album is a great variation on what they usually do. It still fits their style with a few new great twists in some songs.
